I went here with my girlfriend. I got eggs Benedict and she got a mushroom and Swiss omelette. Both were some of the blandest, most flavorless food ever. Maybe we should have ordered some of the sugary starchy items instead, but definitely would not come here for egg dishes. At least the service was friendly and fast.
Honestly I think I got there on an off day. So I gave a 3star but I know they can do better, good vibes here.
The food was kinda expensive, bt good though
We go to gold almost every week and have never really had a problem except for tonight. This particular night Alexis was our server. From the get go I feel like she didn't like us. We were never given our cups of water, it took a while for her to take our order, bring our soups and get a refill on our drinks. We had to ask for a refill on our drinks and ask for cups of water. The refill came but the water never did. Meanwhile she gave other customers water right away and from what I noticed their soups and we were left waiting for a while. Tonight as well her and another girl were yelling talking about a coworker that wasnt doing her job properly. I think this was after the owner left because We frequent this place a lot we know who the owner is. Our server was courteous to the people around us but was very dry and felt dismissive towards us. Not sure if Ill be returning with my family anymore. Maybe let staff know not to yell about another coworker /gossip with customers around and make sure you attend every customer equally. Just because we’re younger than the clientbase that frequents doesnt mean you get to be dismissive of our needs as paying customers.
My family and I come here almost every Sunday as a brunch tradition. My father is disabled and can be a bit difficult but the staff have always been nothing but welcoming and friendly. The waitress, Ashley (I think), is always so attentive and kind to us. Food is consistent. Coffee is solid. Thanks Golden Nugget!
