Golden Krust best in jamaican food.
The foods and soups are VERY SALTY......! The hominy corn porridge is pure SUGAR and the fried dumplings are full of SUGAR too. Please take interest in customers HEALTH THANK YOU
Food is great ..fresh... cabbage..beef patties.. curry goat... can't go wrong
I appreciate this Golden Crust as they are scattered here in Queens. After coming from Flatbush ( where there's Jamaican restaurants on every block) I am grateful. It's located right near the transit hub & a lot of people come through. The staff is pleasant & the food is good. Was grateful I could get some good Jamaican food on a wet, windy evening.
The staff is great and the food is excellent.
Went in for a large oxtail plate with rice and peas. What I got was an overpriced tin of rice with a couple of pieces of meat and gravy. The oxtail should have been cooked longer. I've been chewing for days. I expected to have top-notch jamaican food, especially since I spent $30 on one meal. There's no love in the food, and it's definitely not worth the price. I love jamaican food, but I should have just gone to the popeyes next door. At least I wouldn't have broken my wallet and gotten my money's worth in food.
The food is good but they have nasty attitudes and roaches. The place needs to be cleaned up.
They need to either have the same cooks or everyone use the same recipes. Or post the days a certain Cook is working. Today the cowfoot soup and beef patties were not good. It has happened before. Everyone from the island can't cook. It's a flip of the coin for good/bad food. Ijs
