Good food. Ordered from here 4 times.Twice through door dash. Bartender named Toni is rude. I walked in to pick up my order. 1. She completely ignored me. 2. She lied and told me all the door dash orders were canceled. So I turned around and left. This was really disappointing considering I’ve been coming here for a minute. I’m an experienced bartender. This is sad

The food taste so horrible , the jollof taste like u just dipped the rice in a raw tomatoes sauce smh ‍♀️… the chicken suppose to be chicken suya, not a tastless chicken with a African market pepper powder ‍♀️ ‍♀️ ‍♀️ ‍♀️ ‍♀️ If am paying $30 dollars y’all need to get the food right . Am disappointed and never ordering again.

I Uber eats pickup here today and it was good, good security nice bartender, and fast service. The food taste great too

Pepper soup barely had no meat in the container I ordered off GrubHub was disappointed because it was literally bones and soup.

Firstly, this isn't a restaurant. It's a bar and moreso a lounge/club. If you're looking for a true restaurant, this is not it. Regarding our visit - we were visiting the city for the first time from out of state and was seeking good African food. Because this place had 'restaurant' listed and was open later we choose to go here. Upon arriving it was empty around 9pm. It appeared to be a club setting so we wanted to leave. The owner noticed and came by and encouraged us it was a restaurant and to stay. I suppose because he offers food he assumed to be a restaurant, but there is no restaurant service here. Zero. We ordered 2 entrees and an appetizer. We had 1 waitress who gave us our drinks, who appeared to be the bartender. The 2nd waitress took our orders and said she'd have to check with kitchen about the availability of lamb and let us know if it's not available. She never came back so we assumed it was. We sat for about 30mins till my rice (tchepp yap) arrived. It was cold and tasted old, like it wasn't made fresh rather heated up. The whole time the "waitresses" sat smoking hookah. It's after 10pm and again, just us 2 and the 3 waitresses in the whole establishment. After I've eaten my food, we continued to wait for my boyfriends food. We waited a good 30 mins, so now close to 2hrs here. His food NEVER came. We ask the waitress where it is, and she was confused we ordered food. There was no order placed for his food. She said bc we placed it with the other girl. First as if blaming us, and second, as if we are to know the logistics of ther service system. HOW ABOUT SORRY OR SHOWING CONCERN?! We placed it with your staff, another waitress, not the doorman!! So what difference did it make with who??? Especially considering NO ONE WAS IN THE RESTAURANT AND THE 3 OF THEM SAT SMOKING HOOKAH THE WHOLE TIME ACROSS FROM US. To make it worse, waitress who took our order sat across from us smoking hookah from the time she took our orders to us leaving. So she saw we didn't get food. Proving they do not care. These waitresses are just hanging out there to smoke hookah and minimze the place profits by doing the least possible work, they are NOT working and thus causing this place to not maximize the potential, make money and certainly not make anyone of expectation want to return bc they will not meet it. It is very below average 100%. To think we could've ordered food, more drinks, and my boyfriend tips well, but all that is deterred by the poor service. IM SURE WE ARENT THE FIRST AND WILL NOT BE THE LAST TO EXPERIENCE THIS HERE. I was so upset. I asked for the owner. The same owner who implored us to stay and eat as it was a restaurant. He never came. The waitresses could care less. It was now midnight and my boyfriend had not eaten. The offered no recourse and more important, they expressed no concern. If you like zoo atmosphere, sub par service and below average food and the possibility to never get food, then yes , go here. If any part of you actually wants to eat, expects basic service and attention from a waitress or expects the environment to be classy - DO NOT GO HERE. And management please do not reply to me. I was there all last night and asked for management and no one cared to come by let alone even say sorry for the mixup. Do NOT come on Google and pretend to care.

SERVICE WAS A1 with Bluee the hookah server ! She made sure I had my hookah at a speedy time and it smoked all night . Come see her
