My husband and I have a system that usually works well in Massachusetts. If a Chinese food joint looks a little rough around the edges, the food is phenomenal. Well, this place ruined our system. The food was atrocious. Zero flavor. The cheese wontons were mouldy. The egg foo yung, boneless spare ribs, general tso's chicken, and chicken chow mein had zero flavor. It was weird. When I say zero flavor, I don't mean bland. I mean all of it tasted like nothing. Like water. It was so bazaar. We paid almost a hundy on everything only to toss it all away.
This hole in the wall, go through the back door to pick up to go orders. It is an inherent risk. But when you need to eat, it will do. Zero atmosphere. Parking: You park out back enter fro. 6th Street.
Been going to the Golden Buddha for more than 20 years! It's always our go-to Chinese take out!
Ate here for the first time after driving by for years, its amazing. I had the orange beef and it was hot, fresh and just delish!
My wife get it for take out all the time and love this place. It's our go to Chinese take out in town. We usually order their giant spring rolls, general tsaos and wonton soup. It usually runs about less than $25. The portions are also real nice, it feeds both of us twice each. The don't skimp on the chicken or wontons. I believe it's run by an older couple and just them as I only ever see the two of em in there.
Very generous portion for low price and yummy food
I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years they make good quality food and a great price. I’ve compared it to other Chinese Restaurants and they are the best. I’ve also done tree work for the owner and I do the same quality of work with the same type of atmosphere. These are great people. Great Americans.
