Golden Bowls Mongolian BBQ

Food was great for the price. Overall cleanliness in the front and the kitchen could use some work

First time there. Loved the food and the atmosphere of the staff.

I have regularly dined at Golden Bowls since moving here 15 years ago, at least 10 times per year.. Never, not once, have I had a negative experience. The food is top quality and the service amazing. It's a small venue, but service is so exceptional even on days with a wait list the wait is short. I give Golden Bowls five stars because that's the maximum, I wish I could give them 1 million stars. We love Golden Bowls!

Schön ist anders ... zweckmäßig eingerichtete Essmöglichkeit ... denn auch Restaurant ist anders. Man gibt sich Mühe und der Zuspruch der Gäste ist gegeben. Liegt auch an den überschaubaren Preisen gegenüber Rest-Sacramento. Sollte das Essen nicht munden, dann selbst schuld. Man stellt selbst zusammen. Fleisch, Beilagen, Gemüse, Soßen ... für jeden Gaumen etwas dabei. Dann geht man zum Mongolien-Grill und der Grillmeister erhitzt die Zutaten der eigenen Wahl. Toll für Dinnervorhaben ... all you can eat. Eis aus Nachtisch inbegriffen. Sehr interessant zuzusehen wie die Grillmeister an der runden Grillplatte mit den Zutaten hantieren und in ein schmackhaftes Mahl verwandeln. Ich gehe wieder hin ... mein Geldbeutel dankt es mir und ich bin mehr als satt. Wohlgemerkt nur Dinnertime (ab 4 pm) ist all you can eat time. Ebenfalls die Möglichkeit das Essen mitzunehmen ... Die Angestellten sind nett, die Toilette eher dürftig aber funktioniert.

Consistent experience over the years. I wish they had some of the options that other places do like Lamb. The ambience is solidly hole-in-the wall with minimal frills but, is clean and well operated so the food is good.

My daughter was hungry & she didn't want subway (inside Wal-Mart) and she didn't want Denny's. Since I haven't seen a Mongolian BBQ place in san francisco, we came here...to golden bowls
