Gold Mine Tavern

This was a good place to hear live music with all classes of People. Since the new ownership it’s gone downhill consistently, from very recent poor management and very poor service, to the new crowd that would never fit the old style. New ownership has definitely killed this longtime dive bar that always was a good place to go and do you. Owner should just suck up her failure and do what’s right and donate it back to Hendertucky peeps.

This place is great. They have a patio w live music. We saw a grateful dead cover band called the messarounds. They were fun. The beers ate really cheap when sports are on the TV. The only downside is the inside part is full of cigarette smoke. I would go back, but only to hang on the patio...too stinky inside for me.

It's your average "dive bar". The servers/bartenders are not overly friendly or welcoming but they are respectful . The atmosphere is dark and smokey(of course). The live music is hit and miss but that's to be expected with local bands. Not worth the drive to Waterstreet if that is the only reason you are going.

Turn the music down or fines are coming
