Gokan Sushi & Katsu

My wife and I ordered 3 rolls to split. Each individually was good, but also so incredibly heavy and saucy and high fat. By the time we were on the third I wanted never to look at eel sauce and spicy mayo ever again. Felt worse than eating a cheeseburger. That's of course partially our fault for picking 3 heavy rolls, but this is never something that we ever thought could happen at a sushi restaurant. Overall, I'd give 2 or 3 stars for our experience, but I'll give 4 because with more skilled ordering I believe this place would be quite good.

I love this place! I have basically gone here once a week for years. Salmon lover and double the fun are our favorite sushi rolls. The edamame and the gyoza are also great. If you drink alcohol, try the shotime!

Great place for Sushi and Katsu. Service was fast and attentive

Sushi was flavorful. My Son took Me here to eat dinner. I loved their noodle soup. Service was great. A darn fly happen to land in My Son’s sushi and it ruined his appetite. They were nice to not charge us and return it.

Rolls were meh and we accidentally knocked over a wine glass (on a very full sushi table) which broke and were charged a $10 “broken glass fee.” Nope.

We visited a restaurant where the service was extremely unprofessional and arrogant, leading to a very poor experience with chaotic management. First, while we were ordering, the waitress walked away after only five of our six-person group had ordered, without asking if anyone else needed to order. When I called her back because one person hadn't ordered yet, she rolled her eyes at another waiter and then returned without any apology. Second, we ordered 12 oysters, a dozen, which we made very clear, but she only brought six. Third, not all the dishes we ordered were served, yet they appeared on the bill. Finally, when paying, we were almost charged more with someone else's bill. From start to finish, the experience was a mix of amateurishness and arrogance. The waitress was sarcastic throughout. As for the food, it was very unappetizing. The edamame was sour and spoiled. When we informed the waitress, she didn’t apologize and just walked away. The sashimi was of the poorest quality and very fishy."

Great place, their price has been creeping up for the size however. Seems they are starting to focus more on takeout than dine in unfortunately

Thisis not a real Japanese bar. I ordered whiskey and soda but they gave me totally different drink. Also, they charged my CC more than I paid.
