Food was mid. Service at the bar was great

As you enter the restaurant you’ll see a sign that points down a flight of stairs leading to the restaurant. It almost felt like a speakeasy kind of vibe. The hallway full of picture frames is such a picture worthy spot… don’t get fooled by the hallway because at the end, you’ll see how spacious the restaurant is. We ordered a round of espresso martinis (our first time ever) & it was disgusting. I realize that the alcohol/coffee combination is not my thing (if you’re an espresso martini drinker please try it and let me know your opinion). We then ordered appetizers which was amazinggggg. The table side hand pulled mozzarella was something i never knew i needed in life. Moving onto our entree, i got the salmon w a side of gnocchi, i was honestly full of the gnocchi because they were soft like pillows and very addicting that i didn’t touch my salmon much. The salmon had a green crunch on top which was good. My cousin ordered the tortellini and ugh it was delicious (i will be going back to order a plate to myself). My other cousin ordered the chicken Parmesan which was fulfilling & pasta which was a 10/10. Honestly everything exceeded my expectations. I went to Italy last year and when I ate at this restaurant I felt like teleported. We also ordered the table side tiramisu which was sooooo goood. All in all everything was amazing and yes I am a pasta person. It was chefs kiss!
This place is a gem. From entering the dining room to the food itself. We got the whipped ricotta and meatballs to start, followed by the bolognese and ricotta filled tortellini. The bolognese was good but not my favorite of the dishes we ordered. Either way, haven’t had such well seasoned food and hearty sauce in a while so will definitely come back with my partner and family. Service was excellent as well and made sure our drinks never emptied.
I would like to express my deep dissatisfaction with the experience I had at your establishment last Saturday night. After waiting for 40 minutes, I was informed that the appetizer I had ordered, the mozzarella, was not available. Furthermore, the service provided was extremely inattentive, with the dishes being thrown onto the table carelessly, and no acknowledgment of the fact that it was my mother's birthday, whom we were celebrating. I expected much more consideration and professionalism from your staff, especially considering that I am a regular customer and always leave a generous tip. It is also worth noting that the bread with olive oil was served along with the dishes, when it should have been brought as soon as we sat at the table, as is the standard of service in quality establishments.
Everytime i’m in Philly I love coming here for happy hour. The drinks are awesome and I enjoy their happy hour food menu. I also love the ambiance here, it’s so cozy and warming inside. My favorite part though was the service at the bar. The bartender taking care of us gave exceptional service. He greeted every single guest that sat at the bar so kindly, made drinks swiftly and had an amazing bartender shake, and was very attentive to every single guest at the bar which was packed. A lot of restaurants you go to do not ask about allergies and I was happy to see that he did that as well. I just wanted to give a shoutout to him from my experience there this past Saturday, because he truly gave great service and it made me very happy and content.
Had a rough experience here, but manager Chris made up for it. He was kind & understanding of the situation. Food was delicious.
This place was truly exceptional. From its breathtaking beauty to its impeccable food and service, every aspect exceeded my expectations. Without a doubt, I'll be returning in the future. Their happy hour were priced good for both drinks and food. Well done
