Lobster tostada and grilled shrimp are a must try! The staff are down to earth, not pretentious or uptight…they don’t care who you are, they treat you all the same which is nice for such a high brow spot. Our server Jonathan was the best!

Pros: The property is beautiful. The bar is beautiful. The beach is spacious with lots of pockets of people. The views are stunning! They really did such a great job w the design and layout of this property. Bathrooms are super clean. Non pros: They shouldn’t market themselves as a beach club, they are not. Renting a daybed here isn’t worth it because they aren’t in the sun. Our waiter could not tell us abt the menu. He didn’t understand our questions and when we asked to speak w a server that could answer our questions, he offered different food. Waiters should know the menu. The food was covered with waaaaaay too much sauce. It was heavy and not enjoyable.

Went for my birthday The food is a bit expensive, but the experience of traveling to governor's Island to get there is awesome. They have a ferry to take you back to the city after hours. The island restaurant looks beautiful, it over looks the Manhattan skyline. The food is bland and small portions.

You come here for the atmosphere, service is great and fast, but the food is pretty average. After opening in different locations throughout the years around NYC, the menu remains mostly the same which is not good considering the food is not that great. Drinks and desserts are delicious tho, I had a mocktail and my friends had cocktails. Overall recommend for the experience.

Best place for veg options in food. The ambience, crowd, service everything is just fantastic. The views and the feery ride to the location from new york is like an 1 day adventure. Had the best time there with my girls. Will surely visit again.

Super disappointed! We had a birthday party booked for 9/28/23, sent out invitations to all friends and family etc. received a text (not even a call) a text from this place that they will be closing for the season 9/21. Absolutely ridiculous! This is utterly rude and terrible customer service. We jumped through hoops to get responses to book this place and then this happens! We will NEVER BE GOING HERE! Absolutely disgusting in my opinion! Terrible business!

The food and drinks are pretty expensive (a beer is $9) - but my beer was cold and my wife said her margarita was very good. Food was quite good. Staff was quite friendly and helpful. Not really too crowded when we were there on a Friday night recently (which is good). Would definitely go back.
