Nice idea but terrible food

Dropped around 5pm on a Monday. From the warm welcome at the desk, to the 5* service from Daniel, I truly felt welcome and glad to be back at Giraffe. As I hadn’t been in years. Started with the Nachos with beef, which I highly recommend (pic attached). As soon as our mains were delivered, we could tell they were cooked with love. Thank You

I don't usually bother with reviews but we had a wonderful birthday lunch for my 5yr old today and I want to thank the staff for their excellent service. We were shown to our table immediately, our server realised it was a birthday and asked if it was ok to bring a treat after our food (which it was), our order was taken promptly, drinks came immediately and food came pretty quick too, including an extra plastic glass for my baby on request. My chicken burger with extra halloumi was delicious and everyone enjoyed their food. The servers came over with a brownie and ice cream with a candle in and sang happy birthday and made our 5yr old very happy

Nic nadzwyczajnego. Skrzydełka takie sobie. Hummus bardzo słaby. Zjedliśmy co zamówiliśmy i uciekliśmy.

good food, good service (man named daniel), recommend

Food was ok, but nothing I would rush back for. Although, the kids options are really good and they really enjoyed their food (which is a bonus for any parent with fussy eaters). Service was really fast and attentive, and the restaurant was really lovely and clean too.

I’m pleasantly surprised! When I saw how busy it was I imagined that our food would take a long time to arrive but no! We were served within 5 minutes from ordering. I even expressed my surprised to the wonderful lady that served us. The food was was and very tasty. I had the duck and noodles (can’t remember the exact name of the dish but I’m posting a picture below). The dish cost £15 so a bit more pricey than normal but it’s in the heart of Southbank so it was expected. They have a lovely range of food. From a couple of Asian dishes to burgers, fish and chips and more.

Basic. The food is so-so and the cocktails, though cheap for london standards, were pretty awful.
