Had a Valentine’s Day dinner reservation at the bar upstairs. We went off and ordered way more than enough food thinking the portions miiiight be small but they were HUGE portions and everything we ordered was beyond amazing! I think our waitress was named Melissa and she was great! Even took photos for my girlfriend and I after dinner for us! Highly recommend for a date night if you want great hospitality and delicious food in a comfortable environment!

Came to Gino’s for a valentines date with my girlfriend the day after . The food was delicious, server was sweet, and the owner Gino came to the table with our desserts to wish us a happy Valentine’s Day and thank us for coming in. Nice touch! Much appreciated.

Where do I begin?? First off what a beautiful space, a two floor restaurant with a see through kitchen on both floors. When we walked in we were bombarded with staff greetings and was guided upstairs to the more intimate, sexy and dimly lit upstairs dining area. We sat in the booth overlooking the bustling Randolph street. Sidebar I thought the main dining room was an equally beautiful space.. much more vibrant and little bit more lighting.. but I’m glad I had the chance to go upstairs. Anyway.. in recognition of Valentine’s Day our server gave us complimentary glasses of champagne I’m sure that doesn’t happen that much if any at all but we were glad to take advantage of token of appreciation. Next came out the bread service with like 3 types of condiments and we enjoyed them all equally. We pretty much bypassed the appetizers unless you want to count the bread And an old fashioned cocktail.. then after that the entrees came over.. I had some kinda yummy pasta dish with chicken and vodka sauce.. and my wife ordered some seafood dish and then Gino ( one of the managing members) came to our table and added his finishing touches to her dish( she was on cloud nine) he was a very polite and classy gentleman. The hospitality was top tier.. we want to comeback the parking in the west loop is very very tricky but that won’t stop us… thanks guys

Great place, great atmosphere

I have to say this place saved my night. Went there last night after a terrible experience at another restaurant and I really enjoyed myself. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. The bartenders last night were so kind to us and even listened to our complaints about another restaurant. Marc and the other man who served us at the bar made a bad night end in laughs! Not to mention the food was great they had great recommendations and kept our glasses full. 10/10 will definitely come back!
