Update: Havent been back in months, finally went back today for pie. We went for just pie and coffee and they still just cant even do the job. It wasnt busy, we got served right away, and then we were ignored for 1.5hrs literally. Noone asked if we needed more coffee, if we liked the pies (3 slices of pie and coffees was $34) or if we wanted anything else. Literally had to flag down someone who was just standing behind the bar enjoying their own coffee, and for the bill. After sitting there forever and having NOONE wait on us, we got the bill and these audacious asshats put 20% tip automatically on the bill. I truly was not about to tip for the non service, as the lady who got our order initially had left. This place is an absolute abomination. And we will never be going back. The pies were of King Soopers quality. Truly “Me Oh My” does 120% better and has better pies. Ginger Baker has proven to be filled with the worst staff front and back. This place needs an overhaul. Probably filled with employees from other failed restaurants. This place seemed to good to be true so i went almost every weekend for 2 months. The plates are very overpriced for the product cost. I would normally say that cooking skills are part of that cost but hear me out. The bread is always over toasted, or sits under a heat lamp thats baking it for too long. Doesn’t seem to matter if it’s sandwich bread or biscuits. The edges of almost any bread come out burnt or so hard they are dry and inedible. The biscuits aren’t buttery, moist with crisp edges and a warm soft center, they are usually dry, with super hard edges that arent good. Eggs- this is cooking 101, if someone cant make an egg perfectly to temp then they dont belong on the menu. I stopped ordering eggs after the 3rd time once realized they absolutely cant do them right. Fruit- if the fresh fruit cups come out with bruised soft old fruit, whats in the pies? Call me arrogant but i would assume only top quality fruit is being accepted so im lost why they served such poor quality fruit as fresh fruit cups. Service vs decor, the atmosphere far outweighs the service but not enough to distract from the fact that a coffee takes 15-20mins from the moment it’s ordered to be served. Not to mention our food is auctioned off every time they drop it off, seemingly there isn’t seating number or position for them to use so they can just drop it off. Truly fancy places do this when they serve on very hot plates so that guests aren’t reaching for them unnecessarily, its called quality service. Overall, in my opinion this is just another overpriced niche in Old Town but if you have someone to share a conversation with then you might not notice the long wait for drinks, mediocre food and huge bill for what…? The best part of the breakfast plate is the fried potatoes and i bet they come frozen in a box presumably from Us Foods or Sysco. Just a tip, if you velvet eggs in oil -heat the pan and turn off the heat then add oil and eggs. Better to start slow, I included a picture of perfectly cooked sunny side up eggs in low temp olive oil feel free to use it to train with.

Dropped in for "National Margarita Day" and as usual GB did not disappoint. Jessie and Ryan were tending bar downstairs and kept the drinks coming. Food was delicious as well, burger and a pot pie. Upstairs, downstairs, bakery; all the hosts/hostesses, bartenders, servers, and management work together to give their customers one of the best dining/drinking experiences in town. Always a good time!!!

This was the first time I've ever eaten here, and it was delicious! I had an oat milk honey latte, biscuits, and gravy, and we all shared a cinnamon roll. Great atmosphere and a super friendly staff.
