Gillie's Seafood

Maybe I went on an off day. I heard good things about this restaurant and decided to try it out. I ordered the pork chop meal and got redrice, Mac and cheese and hush puppies as my sides. The pork chops were good just a little thin. The sides weren't enjoyable at all. The atmosphere wasn't very inviting either

Four of us had a dinner at Gillies this evening. The food was terrific as was the service. It is a fun, interesting atmosphere. We all agreed we would be back.

Service was great and the food was really good! Love the sides especially the greens!

As a first-time visitor to Gillie's, I am hoping to get back again!

I have been wanting to eat here ever since I saw a clip from the restaurant on one of the food channels. I was definitely not disappointed. We had to wait to be seated, but not long. The wait for our food was longer than some other restaurants, but so worth the wait. Our table had an order of the Soul Rolls, hushpuppies, grilled catfish with slaw and collards, she crab soup, the jambalaya, and the Catfish Charleston. My friend got an order of the banana pudding to go. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend! Parking: A few places in front, with more in the back

Wonderful people. Wonderful food. Chicken, pork chops, Creole dishes, lots of wonderful sides. Parking: A few spaces out front. God but if parking in the rear. Rear parking lot is dirt and not in great shape.

Don't be in a rush when you get here! Food was superb but nothing came quickly. We had time so it was no bother. There was a steady stream of people coming in and out so I can tell that business is brisk which is good! We would definitely come again.
