Just excellent. A Chicago institution.

Ordered medium, 2/3 of the steak looked like the cow was still mooing. Mushroom side did not have any seasoning. Forgot to serve me bread too but looking at the reviews I guess this wasn’t even a bad thing. Only thing that’s ok was the crabmeat avocado appetizer.

Is it pricey? Yes, but is it good? Hell yes. You need to go at least once.

Lively full upscale atmosphere, beautiful view of the river and skyline at night. Food was top notch and service outstanding. Frankly I was overwhelmed by the food because it was SO MUCH! We had way too many courses and I was stuffed before dinner was even close to complete. The experience was long, I was ready to go well before dessert course but given it was a business dinner I got locked in. I actually enjoyed one of the red sauce pasta samples more than wagu steak but I learned I prefer more of a traditional beef filet or ribeye! It’s super pricey but was a wonderful experience, no complaints other than the pocketbook damage.
