The food is good. It’s like deli food. But the low review is for the nasty attitudes they give you when you have any question about what’s on the menu. Especially the older man who makes food. If you aren’t happy, don’t have a business serving people. Also, some lady there is rude. I saw this because it’s not fun eating for from people with mad energy. I can’t enjoy it fully
Freshly made food with quality ingredients. I especially enjoy their chili, dill chicken salad, roast beef sandwiches, ice tea, and coffee. Pretty little store with friendly staffers.
Joe, the owner of Giacomo Fine Foods, is awesome!! He helped me figure out a pickup order for a party of 70 people! The multiple lasagnas, eggplant parmigiana, and green beans with garlic were packed perfectly and were a huge hit! Everyone thought they were homemade and there was hardly a bite left even though I ordered more than enough thinking I’d freeze one or two for another time. I will definitely use Giacomo’s for my next party, big or small!
Best value in NYC! Super friendly!
The food here is DELICIOUS!! This place is the best kept secret in New York City… Definitely go there and order some soup if nothing else! Also get their roasted cauliflower! Very good service and very nice personable staff. Keep in mind that they are a take out place only. Everything that I have ordered there has been superb!
Prosciutto mozzarella sandwich was perfect. Bread was great, ingredients tasted fresh and not too heavy. And the price point was very good
Fantastic little sandwich shop! Everything seems fresh, the sandwiches seem like they're made by somebody who enjoys being there (love is the best ingredient lol) and the prices are very reasonable, if not actually kinda cheap! They charge more at subway than they do here. A real wide variety as well as soups, both hot and cold. The first time i came in one day was just for a sandwich and only because I was nearby, but it stuck out as a really great place and that's what has me going back.
