Ghostlight Coffee (Historic South Park)

Great little place for good coffee.

Coffee and sandwiches are sooo good! One of our favorite coffee stops in Dayton!

I’ve lived in South Park for years and miss going to Ghostlight on Wayne Avenue with friendly baristas. The team that has been working in the mornings, particularly a blonde with bangs, is very unwelcoming and hostile almost every time I go in. My orders are always simple but I’m met with such a resentful attitude and even comments from her if I ask for something as basic as extra ice.I’ve worked in the service industry for 15 years and have been a barista myself in other countries and am blown away by how uninviting the experience is made by the staff. As a hotel front desk receptionist, I have never recommended this local coffee shop which is too bad but I don’t want to recommend a business with such a hostile staff. In addition to the unfriendliness, they are not the fastest baristas so they drag out the hostile experience. Would not recommend.

ghost light is best cafe in the area. lattes are always made with precision and bakery items are really good.

The establishment boasts charming aesthetics, though prices are slightly elevated, and the coffee menu is somewhat limited. Service quality was acceptable.

First time here, had a mocha. A little on the sweet side for me. We ordered ahead but the staff had not seen the order so we had to wait. Will try again.
