One of the things I love most about Chicago is continuously coming across hidden gems. GG's Chicken Shop is home to some incredibly delicious chicken and a fun atmosphere. I didn't hesitate to add it to my list of Chicago Foodie stops to try again. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Came here for the first time & the place had plenty of seating. Very clean, and not a strong or greasy smell. The person who took our order was very nice. I don’t eat meat so I chose the cauliflower substitute “chicken smash burger”. I asked for no dijonnaise because I hate mayo. Unfortunately, it had the dijonnaise, so I didn’t enjoy as much as I probably could have. It was good, and nice that vegetarian options are available. We tried the Mac n cheese (okay), the fries (strong rosemary or spice taste), and the Brussels sprouts (these were good). My boyfriend had the crispy ranch chicken, and he loved it. We mostly went there for him, and he was pleased so it deserves a 5 star, and I think we will Be back.

Great little chicken shop. Had the Fried Chicken Sandwich - Juicy, crunchy crust and the Waffle Fries with garlic ranch was the bomb!!

Came in for takeout and while I thought it was a little pricey, it was definitely worth it. The food and service were better than you expect from a diner/sandwich shop. Spicy rotisserie chicken was a welcome addition to my lunchbox over two days, and the sandwiches were delicious. One of our group was celiac and the server Mike was really knowledgeable and helpful, modifying the salads to suit her needs. He took time to really go over options with her despite them being busy. Above and beyond.

We ordered on-line and did pickup. Half of the order was incorrect. Waffle fries were interesting seasoning. I have had better tasting chicken for cheaper!!

Not bad but certainly won’t come back. Brussels we’re greasy but flavorful. Lots of coating on the tenders, probably too much.
