Catfish.. catfish..wow. they have blackened but I get the OG "fried."

My family visited on a Sunday morning. There were about 9 adults and 7 kids. The staff was very helpful in seating us at their patio and offered to take our orders so we didn't have to go inside with all of the kids. We had Gumbo, fried chicken and waffles, and fish. Everything was amazing and came quickly. The all-you-can-drink mimosas are the cherry on top. I would honestly come back just for the corn bread. The staff was very attentive and very friendly. They did not disappoint. We will be back very soon.

Placed an order online got my food home and no cornbread. Po Boy was delicious, greens delicious. Couldn't eat the bowl with out the corn bread. Decided to give another try the next day and ordered the shrimp w/frys, more greens and finally got my cornbread

The jambalaya was disappointing. I eat here often and am satisfied with all the food. However, I wanted to try jambalaya. The chicken tastes like rubber so I stopped eating it. Was afraid it was fake food. The sauce was thick like a paste from a can. I ate the shrimp and sausage cuz for $21, I had to eat it. Please do not order this dish. Everything else is amazing!

The best soul food spot I've had in YEARS! Love their food, service is great, and you WANT to leave a large tip! They actually work for it
