I am usually a fan of Genki Sushi worldwide but i didn’t like their location in Waikiki. There was a very limited of options. i ordered a poke bowl for $6.50 and left to eat elsewhere. Although the customer service there was good. I will not be going back.
We’ve been Genki fans for years. If you want really really great sushi, this is not the place. Think of it more as a fast food sushi. It’s good but it’s not fine dining. Service experience is fun with ordering in the app and the little trains zipping to your table with your order. Staff are very nice but sometimes has to be flagged down for a tea or soda refills. Great place for families. Some vegetarian/vegan options like tofu, string beans or eggplant sushi. Vegetarian options: Eggplant nigiri, string beans nigiri, tofu, seaweed salad. Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly. Kids love the auto delivery of your sushi! Largest table might hold five people and no more, though.
Always my favorite at Ala Moana. The space is small and the wait is usually long for dinner but we typically go as soon as they open on a weekday and get a table immediately.
A little worn around the edges but the service and food makes up for that. Loved the Tempura Kamabocha and the Karrage Salmon.
Parking: Because it's at Ala Moana as long as it's not too crazy busy there is plenty of parking for free.
