I had a fun time... We went around 3pm. Food came fast and hot. Some reviews said the food was cold, I don't know what they were talking about egg rolls burnt my tongue, the butterfly shrimp was super hot as well, I had to wait for them to cool down before eating. The Catfish held its heat well and was still steaming well into dinner. My go to dish and benchmark, is always the Honey walnut shrimp. Theirs was excellent. I live in the neighborhood and drove by here all the time but never dropped in I was not disappointed. My guest use to come here 20yrs ago and she loved it.
Food was tasty and served in generous portions. The Queen Chicken is a must try. The walnut shrimp & crab rangoons were very good. The bbq spare ribs are a pass. Recommend it for an upgrade to your standard fast Chinese food.
Great experience here. We came for an early dinner at 6 PM before a comedy show. I made a reservation, but the restaurant was pretty empty at this time. Service was warm and efficient, and we got our food and drinks quickly. Everything was good quality, and the ambiance was great. The restaurant has its own parking lot too.
Great place to catch up with and old special friend!
I came here for a show, they do concerts and stand up shows in a side room of the restaurant. I didn't eat but I did have a cocktail, which was 20 bucks (which is totally fine in la). The show was well executed, both in terms of the timing and the sound system. The restaurant is a take on the classic suburban American Chinese destination restaurant, epitomized by drinks like the mai Tai and cream cheese crab won ton appetizers. Unclear to me why one would eat here beyond the vibes, but certainly the full bar makes a visit worth while. Would for sure recommend seeing a show here. Parking: Kinda tough
Amazing place, the food excelent.
I ordered the potstickers, it has definitely changed in flavor and size. Even though you get more of them now, they're not as tasty as they once we're. The steamed rice was so so, couple hard pieces but no big deal, the soup is NO WAY Vegan as it definitely tasted like chicken broth. Maybe the waitress didn't understand what that means, unsure but it's also a very loud and warm place at night.
