Genesis Cinema

The staff are extremely fun and friendly. The prices are very reasonable and the vibe is super casual and comforting. Great place to get lost in a brand new blockbuster or a classic to see what your parents watched back in the "good old days". I love genesis cinema!

Great for cheap tickets

I've seen Barbie, Oppenheimer, and Dune 2 here in the last year and I really recommend this cinema! I have only been in the studios so I can't comment on the other screens, but both studios are lovely, it is way more comfortable to sit on a sofa seat than a regular seat. I always bring in a large bag with a huge blanket inside and that has always been allowed! One studio has leather sofas (studio 4) and the other has slightly larger fabric sofas (studio 5) - studio 5 is my favourite. They sell the usual drinks and cinema snacks here, they are expensive but no more so than any other cinema, and there are many different cup sizes that you can choose for your drinks. I also like that when I have been there, I have not experienced an overwhelming popcorn smell even though people have been eating it near me - the screens must have decent ventilation (though they still stay nice and warm)

Only got to see Studio 4. Watched All of us Strangers Very cool, small screen, 4 rows of red leather sofas/armchairs + footrests. Nice.
