Gelu Italian Ice Austin

I tried a sample of Gelu’s Italian ice at a free food event. I got a scoop of mango and a scoop of coconut. It was really tasty; I was expecting a bit of an artificial flavor, but it tasted like it was made with real fruit. Italian ice is like sorbet in texture, and it doesn’t contain dairy or egg products, making it a great alternative to ice cream. It was the perfect refreshing treat on a hot day.

Blue raspberry ice was great! Very friendly service. Hoping they stay at east 7th heb as I’m walking distance from there!

Stopped by this place before hitting the Jamaican food truck. This was so good and they allowed us to sample first. We will be back.

Twice I drive to this place and both times they were closed during the posted open hours. Won't be returning.

I tried Gelu thinking it was just like the shaved ice I’m used to, I was dead wrong. This is by far tastier and more unique flavors. The flavor lasts from the first bite to the last unlike others. My family and I were sold right away and became loyal to GELU! Don’t take my word for it, just try it for yourselves!

This is the best Italian I’ve in Texas! My wife and love it as our weekend treat for the kiddos! So many fruity flavors for all of us to enjoy! And the staff is super friendly as well. Try not to get a brain freeze because the flavors will keep you coming back for more!

Gelu is amazing! I have had the tiger’s blood and lemon berry flavors. Both delicious. Customer service was 5 star as well!
