All the vegetarian dishes we had were tasty and great! It is a small restaurant so would recommend booking reservations to avoid wait time. If there happens to be large party of people, it does get a little noisy, that’s the only downside.
This place is overhyped. Very crowded. We had a reservation at 7pm but they made us stand outside and waited until 720pm. The food was not super good, can’t understand why it’s so overhyped.
Insanely delicious, tender and fresh chipotle tikka chicken. We ordered all the appetizers and they were on the dot. Very highly recommend
Must try Indian restaurant in the East Village. Riding the recent wave of well-hyped Indian restaurants in the city, Gazab stands tall with it's flavor-packed biryanis, exciting menu, and trendy ambience.
Friendly service, fantastic food. Get the Bok choy.
My favorite dish was the bokchoy. The samosas were ok, and the Parsi Lamb was also good enough, although if you don’t like spicy, maybe skip it. As mentioned in some comments, the tables are really close together, so it is not a good place to have private conversations.
Nothing feels modern about this place . Very bad Indian food for a very high price . Also a very congested place. We ate bokchoy chaat , Gobi lababdaar, rampuri Taar gosht. Gobi lababdaar very spicy. Rampuri Taar gosht was ok but too pricy and the chaat too sour. They amount of rice they give for a given curry was too less.
