Garden Gourmet Market - Supermarket

Garden Gourmet started making a nice salad, different varieties, about a year ago. They raised the price twice since then. After the first time I still bought them several times a week because they were convenient. After the second price hike not too long after I started buying salad maybe once or twice a week. Then the containers got smaller. Then instead of chunks of meat and veggies, you get little pieces. Even the lettuce is cut smaller. I will only buy a salad now as a last resort instead of part of my regular meals. It's not worth it anymore.

Love this place, SO glad it exists in our neighborhood. Some items can be a bit pricey by comparison to other supermarkets, but many others are not at all so, and the food quality is excellent. Also love the wide range of choices AND, special treat for me, the food imported from all over Eastern Europe! Finally, their customer service is pretty laudable.

Great store to shop always

The reviews about racial profiling are accurate. The store layout is incredibly cramped, and I'm questioning the freshness of the products. I think I will stick with the Stop & Shop across the street.

Great spot for higher end food finds. Although is right on Broadway, I happen to find parking when I go but in case you use public transportation, the Bx9 Bus is across the street on the Broadway/W 234 St Stop and the 1 Train at the 231st St Stop and it is a small walking distance from there. The bread and cheese section has a lot of different options to choose from. I first started coming here for the great variety of craft beers offered but then it became my regular shop when I`m looking for fresher ingredients and more options than other places have. The deli has top quality delicious ready-made food, and you can get cold cuts by the weight.

They sell very expensive they even hungry to charge u for bags

This market has been one of my favorite places to shop for years.
