I go once to twice a month maybe 3 times. They are friendly, will fix my order real fast if I it was made how I didn't want it, frozen margaritas are super good, and I just love the good and atmosphere. Kid-friendliness: I take my baby here. There always friendly to my little one. Ask if I need a high chair and bring it right away.

Garcia's is a family friendly Mexican restaurant and bar, with delicious margaritas and Mexican food staples. There's nothing overly fancy about the place, the prices are reasonable, the service is friendly, and the food is good. They also offer food to go and counter ordering near the Western Ave entrance. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.

Came for lunch after the auto show. Specifically chose Garcia's to avoid the discomfort of the photographers at El Mariachi (despite liking their food). At the beginning of the meal the dreaded photographer showed up and insisted on taking our picture. I had a flautas combo and wasn't really impressed. The salsa is very chunky and onion-heavy. My flautas were soggy from being sat atop the beans, and the chicken was tough. The drinks were very good, but the food was a miss. At the end of the meal the dreaded photographer popped up again and attempted to sell us photos (in which we looked horrendous by the way). Why is this even a thing? I've never experienced this before until moving to Chicago. It makes your customers uncomfortable and not want to come back.
