It was busy, which is understandable since it was lunch time. A very polite waiter who was busy waited on us. He was courteous and efficient. The food was worth the wait! It was delicious as always, especially the refried beans!
Food at Garias is always very consistent since it's produced in a factory commissary and not in the restaurant. Like warming Old El Paso in a microwave but tastes better. My buddy likes to eat here, so we go, but it's just sit down fast food. This trip, the Sopapillas were definitely microwaved. The combo plate was a slab of cheese heated and reheated under warming lights with bits of offending vegetables shrunk into cheese oblivion. In spite of this cheese lava, the relleno was still frozen!!! FROZEN The server dropped the food off, literally dropped plates on the table rudely, and was never seen or heard from again. He was too busy arguing with another waitstaff. Overall, this was a huge disappointment in food and service. I am sure Mr. GARCIA is rolling in his grave watching his dream turned into a fancy vulgar mess.
