Saison omakase was great.

It's been a while I was here. Was in the neighborhood, so decided to come in for a drink with my partner. We order a bottle of sparkling water and two glasses of Barbera de'Asto, it was undrinkable. The bottle must have been opened for a while. It was oxides. We are in the restaurant business, so we know what we taste. The temperature on the wine was warm. It was a disappointment. We just had one sip, paid and left.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of trying to book a holiday party at the Gansevoort Rooftop, and I must say it was one of the most disappointing encounters I've ever had with a business. We were excited to host our party at the Gansevoort Rooftop based on the positive reviews we'd heard from friends and colleagues. However, our enthusiasm quickly turned into frustration and disappointment when we tried to make a booking. Despite multiple follow-up emails and attempts to communicate with Lisa, the person responsible for bookings, we received absolutely no response. This complete lack of professionalism and courtesy is simply unacceptable. In the world of hospitality, one of the most basic expectations is timely and respectful communication with potential customers. Unfortunately, this fundamental aspect was severely lacking in our dealings with the Gansevoort Rooftop. Due to this experience, we've decided to take our business elsewhere for our holiday plans. We also feel compelled to share our experience with others, so they are aware of the lackluster customer service at the Gansevoort Rooftop. In summary, our experience with the Gansevoort Rooftop was extremely disappointing, and we cannot recommend their services to anyone. We hope that this review serves as a warning to others and encourages the management to improve their customer service.

Rude servers and hosts. Overpriced drinks, but looking good. We are ordered to sit at a certain area outside and we’re not allowed to open a door to go anywhere else. People were being yelled at for opening a door. Serious decrease of standards. What a shame.
