Gameway

Closed before posted hours and wouldn’t accommodate

I have actually started looking forward to flying out of terminal 6 because of this Gameway. Great experience and the priority pass perks are awesome. Edit: just realized I accidentally put 4 stars total instead of 5 and this is definitely a 5 star for me.

This is a fine Gameway location. I love the escape that being able to play video games for a little while in the airport provides. While it's not cheap to play, I like to use my priority task to give me access for an hour along with a snack and a drink. When I happened through this particular location they had already closed down the gaming for the evening, but they were still allowing people to purchase snacks or drinks. Maybe they were letting people finish up their hour of game time? I'm not sure. On a different day, I did play some games there, and the terminals were solid.

Had Pokémon cards and hot chips; just what I wanted.

Friendly staff, great service, good selection of drinks and snacks!

So sad I didn't get the name of the worker at the gameway terminal 3 this evening at around 9:00 PM. He honestly made the start of our vacation so much better with his great energy and amazing service. I'm not normally a fan of places like this, but I'm definitely coming back here to see if he'll be around next time I travel. This guy deserves a raise!!

Update/Reply: Not asking for airport announcements to be played in headphones. The request was for a speaker in the GameWay store, just like every restaurant in the airport. To clarify further, parents are sometimes watchimg their children and their luggage. Speakers would help with that higher level of customer service. Original: Stopped in for an hour of play with my son. Staff was courteous, but found out the hard way that they have no paging system to hear airport information because they have to beg for it from the airport (and possibly pay for it). Ended up missing our flight, and when inquiring about what happened, I was told I could pay for another hour and play as long as I'd like. If you're gonna take the time to take my name and number in case I leave something in the gaming lounge, then either pay for the paging system from the airport, or take the time to provide a courtesy service toake sure passengers dont miss their flight and/or flight announcements.
