Gambi's

So disappointing. Our service was great our food was not. Two out of the three chicken dishes came out cold. We sent them back only to have them returned lukewarm. Mashed potatoes cold as well.. Meatballs cold in the middle Which led me to believe they were frozen. Pasta definitely not cooked al dente.

Everything was excellent we had a party of 6 and each got a different dish and all were delicious. Deserts amazing. Met the owner Spencer and Chef Donato made us feel very welcomed. Highly recommend

All the way from Las Vegas , My Beautiful Wife and I were invited by my wife’s sister and her husband to dine here last evening for a wonderful evening !! Great and warm atmosphere… Casual attire … YOU MUST DINE AT GAMBI’s located in the SUMMERSET VILLAGE , it is open to the public !! Chef Donato is 10 stars !! What a fabulous chef and addition to Gambi’s !! Thank You Julie and Derek for such a wonderful evening !! ONE OF THE BEST RENO DINING PLACES !! EVEN BETTER THAN LAS VEGAS’ BELLAGIO !!!! We ll be back !! THE ATLANTIC SALMON IS FANTASTIC !!! And don’t forget the fresh out of the oven Khalua Chocolate Cake w vanilla ice cream ….. YUMMY

The servers are great and wonderful people. But my friends and I all split a few items on the appetizers, a flatbread and a meal and it was subpar, and left much to be desired.

Don't miss this hidden gem. A must go to, for good Italian food. Great atmosphere. Definitely one of my favorite.

The new chef, Renato, is simply amazing. Aside from the delicious food, Renato is an artist with his presentation of his masterpiece on the plate. It offers a delicious eyeful before a delicious mouthful! It is well worth the drive to Summerset

I ordered Alfredo noodles for my son who had his wisdom teeth out and he said that sounded good to him. The restaurant is down the street from our house and had not tried it yet. The person who took my order on the phone was very pleasant and friendly. When I got the food the sauce was extremely thick and the pasta was a bit on the raw side of al dente . I cut it all up w kitchen shears into tiny pieces so he could eat it. The seasoning of the sauce was very good but the consistency was too off-putting. I would like to give this place another chance.
