Gallow Green

Such a cute location. I went here about a year ago but I see now they’re temporarily closed. Hopefully they reopen!

Serendipitously ended up at Gallow Green after an evening in Hudson Yards. It was a beautiful rooftop and such a cool set up, I was so happy to find it because it led me to an evening at the McKittrick Hotel the following day, which my friend had suggested I check out. I had the shrimp cocktail and the gallow green salad. The shrimp were large and worth the price, and the salad I expected to be alright but the flavors worked together deliciously. It had been raining that evening and afternoon but the rooftop was lovely and my server was great even thought I arrived very late in the evening. The back door elevator was so fun, the entire experience was excellent.

Lovely place.l with great food! Wonderful ambiance in the warmer months. Anyone who loved dining al fresco amongst some greenery should not miss this place.

Went on a date bar hopping in NYC. Found this spot near where we were hanging out and decided to try it out. For the amount of time that we were there the spot was chill. The wine was great and the food didn’t take long even though we just had fries and calamari. Either way definitely coming back

The food was great, but the service was a bit rude. I asked him to just give me a VEGETARIAN choice he would recommend. I got crab… Also small mistakes like spilling water over my dress and not picking up the card. Sure mistakes can happen, but afterwards he said our tip was „to little“. We are not from the USA. Tipping in our country is a privilege and for that and the huge mistake with the vegetarian food we gave him more than enough. The view was amazing.
