Solid old school Steak house. Complete with 100's of pictures of celebrities on the walls dating back to the end 1930's. Our bartender told me it was a speak-easy during prohibition and it still has the same bar. Excellent steak house fare wedge salad with bacon, creamed spinach and mashed potatoes.
BEST Rib-eye steak, friend had the Filet soups and fries delicious No room for dessert
Honestly can't hype Gallaghers up enough i didn't know what to expect as I'm visiting from Ireland
If I could give zero stars I would. Horrible experience at this restaurant, will not be returning. My husband and I decided to come here for a special Valentine's Day dinner.. what a mistake that was. We arrived on time for our reservations at 9:45 and were not seated until 10:25. Already off to an inconvenient start.. whatever we get seated the waiter didn't introduce himself, welcome us literally nothing besides which water we would like, no other beverage not even a menu for their drinks. Comes back 2 minutes later and I asked if we could start with a cesar salad he rudely interrupts me tells us we have to put our whole entire order in?? we had only been sitting for about 5 minutes IF THAT at that point we then quickly skimmed the menu and put in an order for the crab & shrimp dumplings, cesar salad, stuffed shrimp, filet mignon MEDIUM WELL w/ lobster tail, creamed spinach & mashed potato's. When I say I have not a single good thing to say about the any single item we received (besides the salad) I mean it whole heartedly. My steak was MEDIUM RARE, the stuffed shrimp was fishy, lobster tail overcooked, mashed potato's were bland & the creamed spinach had a horrible odd taste to it. I can honestly keep going, but this place was not for us whatsoever. Spending $250+ we expected better service/food.
Good atmosphere and good food. Can definitely recommend a visit. You should book a table in advance. Nb. Big potions so you might want to share side dishes. Price level medium +
