Food was good and the service was great. In my opinion this is a specific taste kind of food. While I did enjoy my meal I don't have to return for another. The drinks were amazing though and the donut was awesome. It was cool to be able to see the cooks if you sat by the bar.

My girlfriends and I thought this was a wonderful sharing experience! We made a trio girls day out of it, and got to share the double garlic app (all three of us absolutely are obsessed with roasted garlic and HAD to try), pork belly yakisoba, and two different types of pancakes. We also all got the lychee martinis, they are small but mighty. My favorite part about the desert that we got at the end, was the homemade ice cream that was inside of it! Their salted caramel ice cream and matcha ice cream is amazing!

The food here is incredible. We tried the beef and octopus okonomiyaki and they were both absolutely delicious. I was not a huge fan of the sesame seed ice cream but the donut was very good. 100% recommend trying the okonomiyaki.

Good okonomyaki, does both Hiroshima and Osaka styles. Not served as casually as in Japan but was good and not overpriced. We ended up getting two and that was more than enough for us both. Would do again.

Only place to get okonomiyaki in Chicago! We did the passport experience (tasting menu) which was $42 per person and came with a decent amount of food! The tables have a warming surface in the center which keeps your food warm throughout the experience! We both got the highball which was amazing and well balanced. The tables are quite close to one another, but overall the service was great and so was the food!

Really enjoyed Gaijin! I went for restaurant week and the menu had many options. I picked the pork okonomiyaki and it was delicious! The portions are good and they also have good drink options for cocktails and non alcoholic options as well. Your table is a larger warner that the okonomiyaki is placed on so it never gets cold which is also nice. I will say one of my favorite items was the beef ribs. So flavorful! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian okonomiyaki and apps!
