***Edit: The owner reached out and talked to me about the issues we had. I so appreciate that she was willing to do that, and some friends and I went back the other day to try again. This experience was 100% better! The food was delicious (even got to try the cinnamon roll) and our beverages were done perfectly. They had only been open like 90 days on our first visit, and the second visit they seemed to have worked out some of the kinks. We'll definitely be returning! Overall a disappointment. The place is really cute, and we were excited to try it. Part of the reason we went was for the cinnamon rolls, which were already sold out. The apple turnover, peanut butter cookie, and the banana snack cake were delicious, and the pigs in a blanket were also great. Unfortunately, it was a lot of little things that added up. None of the food was warm, the extra side of sauce we paid for was forgotten, the honey for the tea took 3 requests, and then came with just a single teaspoon, the biscuits in the biscuits and gravy tasted burned and the bottoms were hard, there was a piece of plastic (yep, you read that right) plastic in a biscuit, the egg sandwich didn't come with the pickled onions as advertised, the chai latte was lukewarm at beat, and the iced latte came hot. Can't say we enjoyed our experience, and it wouldn't be a place we'd recommend.

Where to even begin? This place doesn’t do anything not perfectly. Every single thing is absolutely delicious. The staff and owners are so good at making every customer feel a part of the funky flame family. You are truly missing out by not eating here. True life I am absolutely addicted to their cookies. Shout out to Ava who always patiently waits for me to make the difficult decision of what tasty treat to order this time.

Ordered the OG breakfast sandwich and coffee, both were great! I got a loaf of bread to go and OMG, big time yum. Need to come back for pizza!

Bright, bustling, and absolutely cozy. The OG b'fast sammy was unreal-- all the flavors come together deliciously, and add the green sauce! Latte with Middle State coffee was perfect. I'll be taking a few baked goods to go!
