This place has changed, and not for the better. I got a mocha and my wife got a matcha. My mocha tasted off (new flavor?) and honestly I prefer what I make at home compared to what I got, which is an honor only held by Starbucks. Gone are the seasonal drinks. The service is still friendly, if not more shy. The music playing is now more generic, gone are the days when I would be surprised by a good song I never heard before. The pasty selection has also suffered. Before the shop would source a variety of savory to sweet pastries sourced locally. They have been replaced with generic sweet muffins. The book corner used to have a more zainy collection; illustrated comics, music CDs, agitprop. And next to that they used to sell locally crafted stickers. That has all been replaced by milquetoast books. Gotta hand it to the owner, they really managed to scrape out the soul of this establishment.
Best spot to enjoy in Fresno. Great spot for a quick drink. Food options are very limited but the butter croissant and walnut muffin were fantastic. Would highly recommend the Hot chocolate too. Small indoor seating area and a few tables outside as well. Staff members are friendly and have good recommendations. Space is inclusive. Dietary restrictions: Have a variety of milk alternatives for coffee
Adorable little coffee shop, nice place to sit and study. Not a large selection but phenomenal coffee.
Closed down right now due to strike? I was just there yesterday, closed. Pride Progress flag hanging behind the glass. Would any of you shop at a store with a big Trump flag in the front? Would that bother you? The Pride Progress flag is very loaded, it's not just about lgbtqia2s+ black/brown/women/minorities anymore, and it's very divisive. I don't think it, like a Trump flag, belongs at a place of business if the intention is to be a welcoming environment for all patrons.
When I lived down the street I’d come here all time for great coffee and friendly people. I miss it dearly but still make a detour when I can to pop in. They are friendly and welcoming to all.
