My birthday cake came from here this year, and it was magical. It had a passion fruit puree, and the sweet, tangy, acidity balanced perfectly with the rich flavors and delicious frosting of the rest of the cake. It was intricate, delicious, and I've never wanted leftover cake more in my life. Sadly, only one slice survived the night, many people went for seconds. Also, the bread is fantastic. A delicious herb focaccia with a soft interior (perfect with Kerrygold butter), nice crust with sea salt. Ridiculously good bread. Also got a brioche cinnamon roll today, cinnabon can eat their heart out. The owner was super nice too, and I can't wait to try more of her creations. They're not open M-W, so make sure you get in over there weekend , or you'll be waiting till Thursday.

Full Belly, full heart, can't lose. We hired Eva to bake our wedding cake, and even though the wedding was months ago, our guests are STILL raving about the cake! People literally brought their second slices onto the dance floor because they couldn't get enough. We went into the cake tasting pretty sure we knew what we wanted (triple chocolate), but all of the flavors were so good, it actually was a tough call! I never met a carrot cake I liked until I met Eva's, and we even joked that we wished we were having a bigger wedding to need a second cake so we could have more of the Berry Gentilly. We did end up going with the triple chocolate, which was the perfect balance of rich, indulgent flavor without being too sweet! Throughout the whole process, Eva was a proactive and clear communicator, and she made sure everything went smoothly on the day of the wedding! We can't recommend her enough!

Belly full of Full Belly :D I love that it's not too sweet and leans a bit savory - been four times this month already! They have different things throughout the week, some of my current favs include the pecan scone (ate 4 of them this weekend), carrot cake (comes in a cute jar), and walnut zucchini loaf (even my husband who doesn't like desserts thought it was good). Lovely customer service and great music too

I lov this bakery. If you want something really special, get her layer cakes in a jar. I give as gifts and everyone lobes them. Reasonably priced.

I’ve never believed in a divine god but these cakes have me questioning myself. The strawberry cake is perfection. Delicate crème frosting and then a shock of tart fresh strawberries all sitting in a foundation of light and airy cake. Simple perfect ingredients done with exceptional skill and artistry. This bakery is a gift to Oakland. Baptize me in a sea of full belly crème

I have not tried items from this business since I don't live in the area. I l live in Atlanta, GA. However, I can speak to my experience ordering and coordinating delivery to the intended recipient that does. Eva was very helpful by providing information about their delivery area and time. Ordering instructions on the website were clear and the cake was received on time and intact. I ordered a signature cake, the Salted Caramel Apple and it was "very good" per the recipient. So much so, that they said they would order from them whenever their family has a gathering. Hopefully, one day I'll get to try the place myself. Thanks for all your help Eva!
