Old school Japanese breakfast of broiled fish and tofu. Very tasty saba (mackerel) and impeccable service. Chef even greets customers. One local told him the steak reminded her of her grandmother’s. Dogs welcome in patio.
ヒレカツ定食を食べました ボリューム満点でお腹いっぱいになりました オーダーしてからもう少し早く出てくれば尚良ですね
Fukagawa used to be really good. But since new management took over more than a year ago things are no longer the same. We used to eat Japanese breakfast there 2-3 times a month. But we noticed that prices went up significantly and the quality of the food dropped. The rice is now kind of on the dry side, eggs tend to be over cooked, the miso soup seems inconsistent.
Authentic Japanese restaurant.
Katsudon was ok, but a bit small. Butadon was very dry and not good. Tempura was decent. The price was expensive compared to what you get. Service is good though
Very good japanese restaurant. The food is quite a lot, but it was all delicious and felt quite homely. I got the pork ginger plate and it had a delicious ginger taste and exactly what I was missing from Japanese food.
Delicious cold soba! Friendly staff and cool vibes
Food is good except the portions are small. Service is mediocre. Tip is calculated after taxes (rip off) so just keep that in mind when you tip.
