Fujiyama Steakhouse of Japan

We had reservations for 6:30 but still had to wait over an hour before we were seated. We weren't the only ones. Once seated the service was fine. The chef did well but the food was just so so in my opinion. We went to celebrate my step-daughter's birthday. She and her husband liked it more than I did. I likely won't be back. Just not my thing.

Ordered sushi as take out and spent $40 for the smallest rolls I’ve ever seen and got teriyaki chicken in a small container….save your money and order from sushi boss where they give you real sushi. These rolls are so tiny and over priced.

Just had the coolest time at Fujiyama Steakhouse of Japan in Indianapolis – I can't stop raving about it! So, let's talk sushi – it was the bomb. Seriously, each piece was like a flavor explosion, and you could totally taste the freshness. These guys know how to roll! Now, the chefs? Entertainment level 100! Not only did they whip up our food with mad skills, but they also put on a show. It was like dinner and a show all in one – definitely the most entertaining chefs I've ever come across. The main dishes were spot-on. Perfectly seasoned, crazy delicious – they nailed it. You could tell they put some serious love into the food. And the service? Top-notch. The staff were super friendly and on the ball. They made our big group feel right at home, and everything ran like clockwork. Price-wise, it's a steal for what you get. Good portions, great taste – you can't beat it. Honestly, if you're looking for a fun night out with killer food, Fujiyama is the spot. They aced the sushi game, rocked the chef entertainment, and made our group feel like VIPs. Highly recommend! Can't wait to go back for another round of awesome.

I have been coming here for AGES. Like since the late 80s. It has always been good, and Myself and the Wife love it. Though the place has changed a bit over the years (I do miss the little bridge inside). The food remains excellent. From the Soup and Salad (that have been the same good choices since I can remember), to the Hibachi. Love this place. Ohh, and the Sparkling Pineapple is a timeless treat.

Still The best food and service and in town !

We had a reservation at 7 PM. We weren't seated until just after 8 PM. The waiter took the drink order of the grill/table across fun us first and said he'd be right back for our order. 10 minutes later he came out with their drinks and left. 10 minutes later he came back with the other tables soups and salads, at which point he took our drink and food order. Finally at 8:30, 1.5 hours after our reservation our soup and salad, minus alcoholic drinks, arrived. The chef took care of the table across from us, and did not start our service until 0840 with our entree finally being served sometime just before 9 PM. We would have left after the first hour if it weren't for the false belief that we would be seated and served at "any minute". We have two small children who were absolutely starving by the time we were seated, making the duration of our wait even more inconsiderate. The food and staff were all decent enough, but if an establishment is going to take reservations, then they need ensure they know how to stagger their seating and tables to meet the reservations, in balance with walk in diners. If I have my choice, this is the first and last time I will dine here. Parking: Parking was just as ridiculous as the wait. I ended up circling the lot 7 times, for 10 minutes just to get replace someone else parked next to the dumpster, not in an actual parking space. They need a lot probably twice what they currently have.
