By far the best steak house in Tampa

Been coming here for 17 years on and off. Food is still amazing.

Everything was good, right until we ordered our dinner. I noticed that everyone else that came in after us had gotten their food. We had to wait a total of 25-30mins. Once we got it..it was very cold. And to make matter worse, it was Valentines Day. All we got for a spoiled dinner was 2 hot potatoes to go with our cold food after we had it packed up to go. The manager wouldn't even talk to us to at least apologize. I would NEVER go there again, NOR will I recommend it to anybody else.

This is a mom-and-pop no frills off the beaten path steakhouse that's been in our local area for a long time. It has a 1980s Montana old western decor vibe. The side dishes and appetizers are not bad but not memorable. Definitely not a romantic intimate setting, corporate decor type of place. However, if you want good service and damn good steak with unique mixed wood grill flavors that you probably won't find anywhere else, this is it! As a collector of dry rubs and seasonings, I have to applaud their chef's blend that they put on their steaks! Highly recommend this place over any of your usual chain steakhouses in the local area as far as quality of cooked steak.

If I could give them -4 starts I would ! It’s Valentine’s Day and I decided to order out because it’s a busy day . I ordered came to restaurant to pick up my order , I ordered 6 entrees a sampler and an addition appetizer . The host handed me two bags I said is this all my food I ordered ? Livy was very busy so I went to car to check I was missing an app the sampler and a chicken dinner . I came inside just to get accused of stealing food and was brought back to kitchen ! Completely embarrassing! Then they went to check the receipt to see the kitchen messed up . I’m completely dissatisfied and disgusted with the way they treated me and I suggest you get better customer service! Moving forward I asked for a refund and the manager told me she owed me nothing so I left with no food . YOU JUST LOST A LOYAL CUSTOMER!

Over all: 4.4/5 ★ ★ ★ ★ ✮ Atmosphere - 4 ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ Definitely not a dressy place. It’s very laid back and I love this. You can come get great food and not have to get dressed to impress. It’s comfortable and old school. Could use a face lift but I’m not mad at it. Service - 5 ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was phenomenal. Everyone was friendly and food came out in a timely fashion. Felt welcomed and will be coming back. Appetizers - 3.5 ★ ★ ★ ✮ ☆ We got the appetizer sampler that came with fried everything: mushrooms, corn, onion rings, mozzarella sticks. I didn’t have the mushrooms so I can’t vouch for them but the corn and onion rings were on point. The mozzarella sticks were mid. Like frozen ones from home. I’d definitely get the onion rings and the corn next time. The onions didn’t slip out of any of the fried batter. A+ for that. Entre - 5 ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The steak is the STAR of the show. Whatever they’re doing to these steaks, please continue because they were delicious. I got the NY strip and hubby got the no bone ribeye. They were both cooked to perfection and so juicy. I liked the ribeye better than the NY strip but that’s just my preference. Can’t wait to come back! Dessert - 0 Didn’t have any so I can’t score. Drinks - 0 They have coke products but didn’t get any alcoholic beverages so can’t score.
