Friends Sushi on Rush

A Chicago institution. Friendly, attentive service. Great sashimi, artfully presented.

Came here on a Sunday and was able to get a table for two. Cute place on rush with some mighty tasty sushi and super friendly wait staff. Can vouch for the mighty green (you think apple is going to be weird but it brings a great texture without it being fruity), muskateer and rainbow roll . Muskateer is packed with goodness and was excellent Rainbow is is my go to comparison roll and this was fresh and melt in your mouth good. Two enthusiastic thumbs up for sushi.

One of the best rolls I’ve had. Fresh and tasty. Spicy too but not impossible to finish due to spice. I recommend this place. Size for the price was good too.

Oh my goodness was Friends Sushi amazing! We ordered a few appetizers and then four maki. The appetizers were perfectly cooked and the maki was as good as, or maybe even better than any of the top sushi restaurants in NY or LA. If you're in Chicago, I highly encourage trying Friends Sushi!
