Friedman’s At The Edison

Omg the food is amazing here!! Tried it on our first day and then the day we were leaving I wanted to eat there again. I loved it. Latte and french toast my favorite I tried two other places in New York but Friedman's is my favorite Vegetarian options: French toast, grill cheese with tomato soup and fries. Do recommend getting grill cheese with grill jalapenos. So good

Very comfortable diner located at the entrance of Hotel Edison. Ordered the breakfast burger medium well and it was a perfect start to the day. Very filling and good balance of beef, eggs, lots of bacon and salad.

Nice restaurant atmosphere. Service was decent but it’s NY, no introduction or checking in if we needed something, just a basic. Food was ok did not meet the expectations of the reviews. Pancakes had way to much chocolate, same with the French Toast and the jam on it that we couldn’t enjoy. Portions where great for the price. Latte was delicious! I would not return, I’d try another restaurant.
