Fresh Twist

Run, do not walk, for their empanadas. I tried the beef & cheese, Philly cheesesteak and the guava & cheese ones and they were delicious. The skin is nice and thin, not oily at all…the woman that handled my order was so friendly & appreciative. She thanked for me ordering w them! Will def order again and try their smoothies next.

Stopped by Fresh Twist for the first time last week. The owner greeted us when we walked in and directed us to help ourselves to any seat. (About 3-4 tables in the restaurant). We ordered the chicken tacos and chicken empanadas. I really enjoyed my tacos and their hot sauce was a nice touch. I would definitely return when I’m in a taco mood. My fiance also said the chicken empanadas were good, we would come back and support local small/ women owned businesses. Parking: 2-3

On Saturday December 2nd, 2023 my girlfriend and I went to Fresh Twist on New Dorp Lane for the first time. As a non native New Dorp restaurant I have no personal bias to write this review on. From the moment we walked in, Judy greeted us, offered us menu's and suggested us ideal appetizers, meals and smoothies based on the foods we like. I ended up getting the steak tacos, with a banana and strawberry smoothie, and custom yogurt bowl to go, and my girlfriend ended up getting a beef and cheese empanada and a chicken and cheese empanada as well as a berry and banana bowl. All of the food came out delicious, but the yogurt bowl is REALLY what I enjoyed the most. My bowl consisted of bananas, strawberries, pineapples, granola, honey, and yogurt. It was SO fresh, and flavorful and now I can't stop craving it. The steak tacos paired well with the Chipotle Mayo sauce, the meat was very fresh and well seasoned, and the smoothie also turned out to be very refreshing. My girlfriend also thoroughly enjoyed her empanadas of beef and cheese and chicken and cheese but stated the chicken and cheese empanada was preferred, she also enjoyed her own yogurt bowl. Overall, my experience was fantastic and I would recommend this place to anyone to eat as you will NOT be disappointed! Fresh Twist is average. The beef empanadas were decent but nothing to rave about. The fresh chips and guacamole were excellent ans definitely recommend! Very tiny place with only two tables for seating. I recommend trying but definitely not my favorite! Kid-friendliness: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

I miss this place SOOOO much! I moved out to NJ and no one knows how to make an empanada This place has THEE BEST guava and cheese empanadas, super sweet and yet savory as hell. The smoothies are always great but lord knows I miss my empanadas. I will gladly pay ez pass for the food here

Best Empanadas I've ever tasted !so fresh cooked to order , chicken and cheese is my favorite light crispy crust loaded with filling

Food is always fresh always can’t ask for anything more love the food there customer service is great get there and get your juice and the food u won’t be let down.

Absolutely outstanding food 10/10 chefs kiss . Service is great and just like the name it's always so fresh.
