⚠️ ⛔️ WARNING ⛔️ WARNING ⛔️ ⚠️ Repeated pricing errors are deceptive and unacceptable. Today, March 28, 2024, my wife and I visited Fresh Thyme market on 82nd St. near the Fashion Mall in Indianapolis. Despite being a regular customer for two years, we’ve encountered numerous instances where the store fails to honor its advertised prices at the checkout. The items price as Sales on the floor like the apple I purchased was marked at $1.99/lb, yet I was charged $2.49/lb at the checkout counter. Similarly, the English cucumber was labeled at $0.99 each, but I was charged $1.99 each. When confronted, the employee initially dismissed the discrepancy blaming my wife for the misunderstanding. My wife even apologized feeling like a fool- until pressed further. This is not an isolated incident but a pattern of deceptive pricing practices. This happened here at the same location several times before. I refuse to be complicit in this scam-like behavior, where customers are overcharged and then offered apologies and free items to maintain silence. It's unjust, especially for vulnerable individuals like retirees and families on limited budgets. I demand immediate corrective action from Fresh Thyme to rectify these unethical practices. Additionally, I urge authorities to investigate whether this is systematic racketeering and theft. Consumers deserve transparency and fairness, not exploitation. ⚠️ ⛔️ WARNING ⛔️ WARNING ⛔️ ⚠️
The staff was friendly enough and the store seemed clean but I noticed that the bulk coffee had not been switched out since September of last year, and upon arriving home with my groceries, noticed that the bagged baby potatoes I bought were growing a pretty significant amount of fungus. I assume they do not rotate their stock very often.
