French Bakery Cafe

Great pastries, i just go there for the European style pastries, love them.

It was such a disappointment.. Weird cheese added to veggie omelet, undercooked veggies and egg, burnt hasbrowns. Horrible Almond Croissant, some strange goo inside. Won't return.

I have been coming to French Cafe for a long time….it was my favorite place…there were some changes made that I didn’t like and I stopped coming. I did tell management about the changes I didn’t like and I am very happy to see that management listened to my comments. Thank you French cafe for listening. By the way a young lady Erin took my order this morning and I was very impressed with her attentiviness and attitude. Thank you!!!

I came to pick up 2 large sheet cakes which were ordered over the phone before the party..both costing $120 each. The writing wasn’t done yet and the girl who handed us the cakes was in a rush. The first cakes cover came off the top so we saw the writing and it looked fine. The second cake that came off was tightly covered so we placed the cake in the car since they’re heavy. The same girl who helped us, clocked out right after so she definitely didn’t care how the writing came out. When we uncovered it at the party, the writing on the second cake was an absolute mess. The “E” on my nieces name looks like an 8 and the “birthday” looks sloppy. There’s not even dot on the “i” or a line on the “t”. For **$120** a sheet, the writing should at least be legible.

Update 3/11/24 Great improvement! Yummee dessert! The last 2 times since my last review have seen some great improvements. The large fruit tart I bought was very good, we enjoyed it very much. The staff seemed like a a couple new girls that were really friendly. Keep it up!:) Initial review: While anyone can surely bake french pastries that is trained, It can be easy to unknowingly incorporate different baking techniques into the food. Just something to keep in mind in making the pastries better here. Stick to French technique only. I hope to change the rating soon. I know you probably put alot of hard work into things and I really would love to give you 5 stars. I will give it a few more trys and hopefully will see improvements.
