Roxy was AMAZING, Attentive without being pushy. Food came out fast.

Love the history of the location and the committed preservation of the relics there. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is friendly and homey. The train rolling through ever so often is a nice touch as well. VERY clean. Can't wait to come back!

Less than impressed with the experience here, I walked in at 11:30 and was told I'd be seated in just a few minutes, while waiting over 40+ people came in loud and obnoxious and crowded the front area(poorly designed waiting area needs more seats) then several were seated that came in after myself, after waiting patiently over 30 minutes and standing pressed against a wall I walked up asked the hostess when they could seat me one person, they sat me immediately then apologized they overlooked me, I ordered a speciality ribeye supposed to be blue cheese crusted but received a plain barely seasoned steak with cold mushy pasta salad, the vinegar off the pasta soaking the steak and small dinner roll(should be served in a separate bowl), the side salad and roll were the best two food items leaving the main course of steak as fair and cooked properly but not how I ordered it, I was too hungry and waited too long to ask for the correct steak to be sent plus the screaming children that were running around me the entire time was not pleasant to deal with. Won't return anytime soon. Longhorns and Texas Roadhouse are the better choice especially for steak.

We took our 3 kids there(14,12,5) for my 14 yr olds bday last weekend. It was the first time we had ever been. We liked that you could see the train pass while you eat. It was quiet inside and the train was not even a foot from the restaurant. You would think it would be loud because it is so close but it wasn’t. The food was really good and so was the service. If you like steak or burgers they are good. Also, the fettuccine Alfredo and rolls are good. We will definitely go back because it was worth the 1.5 hour drive from our house! Our friends said the cakes are really good also. Next time I will definitely have to try one. Kid-friendliness: If your kids love watching trains this is the place to go.
