What an amazing place to soak up some atmosphere. Good food and drink, no wonder George Washington and his crew hung out there.

Such a cool historical spot

Un oasis d'harmonie dans le chaos du Financial District. La nourriture est correcte, les serveurs professionnels mais c'est surtout l'endroit lui-même qui vaut le détour. Nous y étions en famille pour le déjeuner mais je pense que les soirs de concert ce doit être aussi sympathique.

Excellent place with delicious food, drinks service and atmosphere! Loved the nostalgia of the building and decor as well!

We were lucky and got a free table without a reservation. A really nice atmosphere with very courteous service. The drinks and the snack we ordered were very good. We can recommend it and we would be happy to come back on our next visit to New York.

Everything was great, but we had to wait over 15 minutes to get seated despite the fact that we had a reservation and came around the time of our reservation. Also the waiter forgot to bring us our desert so we waited like 25 minutes for it before we had to remind him that it was part of the 3 course menu. Other than that excellent atmosphere and great food - especially their plate of different meats and cheeses.

This is a very fun spot with lots of different dinning options. The main dining room is quiet but it has 2 (yes two) bars that are amazing. Old and fun and somewhat loud but lots of booths and lots of fun to eat in the bars. Be sure to get the bread pudding dessert and the fried cheesecake rolls are amazing. She loved the clam chowder and the Scotch Eggs (sausage wrapped and then fried eggs). We got extra dipping sauce for the scotch egg because it was soo good. I loved the chicken pot pie and the German pretzel was the best I have ever had. Crisp outside and soft inside with 2 amazing sauces. A very fun place with live fun music in the bar dining areas on weekends. Highly recommend this place. Casual dress in encouraged. Check out all of our reviews and look at all or photos below.
