As a returning patron, my expectations were high, but alas, they were met with a roller coaster of experiences. First up, the garlic Parmesan wings. I eagerly anticipated indulging in their savory goodness, only to be met with disappointment. The sauce, touted as garlic Parmesan, tasted more like a botched attempt at an Italian dressing. It was a letdown, to say the least, reminiscent of the worst adaptation one could imagine. However, I'm willing to chalk it up to an off day in the kitchen. Despite this culinary misstep, the staff shone bright during the lunch rush. Their demeanor was friendly, professional, and accommodating, making the dining experience pleasant despite the culinary hiccup. The atmosphere buzzed with energy, with patrons seeking a quick bite adding to the vibrant ambiance. Now, before you write off Franklin Tap entirely, let me remind you of the silver lining: my previous visit. The shrimp tacos were a testament to the establishment's capability of delivering decent fare. So, while I may hesitate to recommend the garlic Parmesan wings, I wouldn't dissuade you from giving Franklin Tap another shot. In conclusion, Franklin Tap remains a viable option for a quick lunch bite or brew. While they may stumble in some culinary endeavors, their friendly staff and potential for tasty dishes are reasons enough to give them another chance. Who knows? Your next visit might just be the one where they hit it out of the park.

Local delight. Love stopping in for a burger or something, and a few drinks. Good music, great and kind staff.

jake was so awesome!!! they made our experience so incredible while we were visiting chicago and they had a great selection of beers. definitely recommend :)
