Tired old place. I struggle with those who believe that it is authentic Italian. Certainly what is on the menu is indeed Italian, but the quality was very low. Olive oil was cheap, one dish was partially frozen and all tasted either artificial or inedible, frankly. The people are friendly, but that does not make up for a dilapidated place with paper tablecloths charging mid-level prices for substandard fare. I'll never return but I wish them well, and urge they improve overall.
Everything was delicious. You cannot go wrong.
Only one time was the food just "ok". All the other times, over a 10 year period, was excellent. If you get Alex as your waiter then you're in for a treat!
Food is just average. Bruschetta topping was excellent, but the bread was over-toasted and dry. The special Franco chicken was unexpectedly sweet — in fact, too sweet. The pomodoro pasta was over cooked and one dimensional. The pesto gnocchi was too cheesy. If you’re looking for Italian food, and are okay with average Italian food, then it might be worth a try.
