Fox on John

A great experience at Fox on John, especially when Cassandra D is serving. Cassandra is passionate about her job and cares about the customers. Her customer service is exceptional and she is a big reason why my friends and I keep coming back. Cassandra, you are the very best - my experience at Fox is always memorable because of YOU!

A great place to go for a bouje night with friends or even a date. The patio is my favorite. Inside is great with music and the seats are comfy. Be ready to spend some money though. Get bottle service if there are a lot of you that drink. Probably better.

10/10 recommend this place! Wonderful food, amazing atmosphere, and the service top notch. We had Vera, who was genuinely friendly, and prompt. She had amazing suggestions for drinks and food and was just a true pleasure to interact with. Great representation for the business.

A couple of my friends and I went to Fox on John while we were just bar hopping and I'll tell you this the bar hopping ended there. The best service, smiles from every staff, the wings were amazing, the music was great and the vibes were out the roof. I would definitely recommend Fox on John to get yourself back into the world from this pandemic. You can definitely catch me there every weekend.

2 stars for location. Visited here with workmates not too long ago, and the service was below par to say the least. Even getting water refills took to long that we had to go and seek out the waitress. The food is regular. Nothing outstanding here. Great for drinks if you aren’t in a rush.

A group of us was here for the IATC and found this Fabulous lunch spot and really good food!! So good we went back twice while we were in Canada. The staff was awesome especially our server and bartender Matt!

****Edit**** after writing this review the waiter did put effort in to fixing the situation, so I increased the overall review.Unfortunately, aside from being well set up for watching sport, the fox and the fiddle was a disappointment both in terms of food and in terms of service. Our waiter asked for our orders then confirmed them - about 45min later we were asked again for our original order...in the midst of attempting to order more. Our waiter blamed our "sporadic" ordering as the reason he needed us to reconfirm. He did not apologise for the confusion or the fact he lost our original order and was irritated when we wanted to order more at the same time. We also found the food lacking seasoning and flavour for the price. I will say the waiter was open to me ordering a side not technically on the menu, but other than that we were disappointed.

A good pub to have a pint.

"Brisket" sliders? More like deli meat sliced roast beef on a bun. Best thing about this place is that Sweet Jesus is next door.
