I've been to a lot of Portuguese and Spanish restaurants in the past, including many in the Ironbound since I worked nearby for many years. I found the food to be expensive and not that great. Plus, we had to continuously asked for more vegetables, rice, and chips since they only brought over 1 plate of each for a party of 6. I ordered chicken scampi, and the sauce was watery, just 2 pieces of chicken, and some spaghetti. I also had a bowl of lentil soup that was too salty. My wife and I agreed that there were better deals elsewhere, and better food.

Update: Recently went back to this nice restaurant and it was even better than before. Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and great service. 11/22/22 Super amazing food and atmosphere. The wait staff was attentive. Food was fresh and tasty. Update 3/13/24 Just as good as any of the times I have come before. Staff always amazing. Food tasted fresh and flavorful. Beautiful.

best food in this place and on top of that you have to try the churros.....is to die for.
