Great food and even better service. New family favorite. Thank you very much.
Absolutely incredible restaurant. New family favorite to eat at. The service is speedy, sufficient, and welcoming. Our server even closed the blinds for us because we were watching the hockey game and was concerned we had too much of a glare. Fantastic food!
My family has been doing to Formosa Garden for more than a decade and it has become our favorite place to get food. The owner Peter is very kind and hospitable. There is something delightful about every dish! Formosa Garden has truly become our go-to choice for dinners, where we are all left thoroughly satisfied every time.
I am so glad the treasure was saved and restored!!! It’s a miracle! I hope you can make this a historic sight so it is never destroyed or abused again. The Formosa is such a special beautiful atmospheric place —-thank you so much!!
This place has fallen off a cliff. Ordered a delivery and they are stingy with the sauce it doesn’t even cover the bottom of the sauce cup! The wontons in the wor wonton soup tasted awful. Ordered steak and got pork. Asked for medium instead of spicy and they put zero seasoning on it.
I love the sizzling rice soup! The menu says the Pad Thai is mildly spicy but it’s more of a regular spicy.
Had reservation for 6 at 6:30 tonight for xmas eve. Seated right away but then took 1 hr to get someone to take our order. All the folks at other tables were waiting a long time too. What the restaurant was doing was pushing out online orders both pickup and delivery and the heck with seated customers. There were so many to go and delivery folks that they were lined up out the door holding it open so that all the heat left the building. The staff (all 3 or 4 of them) were fighting and yelling at each other. The owners nephew got mad at me ( finally got out of his seat and in my face) for complaining and told me to go talk to his uncle (the little old man) in the kitchen. This is a totally different place than it used to be. Oh and the food stinks so no great loss of our business to them ever again.
Cheap, and not in a good way. The owner is very cheap, skimps on using quality ingredients, and always stinks (smells like an ashtray from chain smoking all day). I ordered $50 worth of food and when I asked for the "free spring rolls" (any orders over $40), he stated I needed to bring a coupon from home. I showed him the coupon right on his own take out menu (in my hand) and he refused to because I didn't "bring the coupon in." There are 20 other Chinese restaurants nearby with better food... it was close to my house, but it isn't worth dealing with him. After going there for over 9 years, I'm done with him and will never go back.
Today I enjoyed the very best sesame chicken I've ever eaten thanks to Formosa.
